Giving power back to people – from conventional to modern way of communication

Room: Bryggarsalen

In just eight months, Corporate Communications and IT at Hapag-Lloyd have replaced the 20-year-old intranet with a new collaboration platform based on Microsoft SharePoint.

This was accompanied by a massive change in all internal communication: instead of top-down communication from corporate communications to employees, communication was personalised in many respects and tailored to users.

  • – But how can such a change be implemented in a large organisation?
  • – What factors need to be considered to ensure that the new system meets the needs of employees?
  • – And how do you design an effective internal campaign to drive this cultural change?

In our session, we will talk about project initiation, implementation, and further plans for our internal communication. Using practical examples, we will discuss the key steps, strategies and experiences that will guide us through this change project.

Key takeaways:

  • – From top-down to more personalised communication
  • – How to run an effective change communication campaign
  • – Lean project in enterprise organization
  • – The importance of roles in the project
